“Though lovers be lost, love shall not; and death shall have no dominion”-Dylan Thomas. It is with broken hearts that we must announce that Clark Dale Robbins, of Crawfordville, Florida, formerly of Taylor, Pennsylvania passed away Friday February 28 2025 at his home in Crawfordville after an illness.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Faye M Kizer Robbins with whom he celebrated their 32nd anniversary on December 12th.

Born April 29 1962 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Sherman Dale Robbins and Gail Louise Davis. He lived most of his life in the Scranton and Taylor Pennsylvania area before retiring to Crawfordville in 2020.

Although Clark didn't visibly display his emotions, he was a deeply loving and caring individual who aspired to treat others with honesty, integrity and compassion in all aspects of his life. Clark felt it was an honor to serve and protect the citizens of Taylor whether it was through his service as a firefighter with the Taylor Fire and Rescue, where he served as President of 95-2 and was an integral part in the merger of stations 95-2 and 95-3 creating Taylor Fire and Rescue; as a member of American Legion Post 306 where he served as adjutant, JAG, and Second Sergeant at Arms; or during his career for the Borough of Taylor as Code Enforcement Officer, Zoning Officer and Assistant Borough Manager. He was one of most credentialed Code Enforcement/ Zoning officials in the state of Pennsylvania at the time of his retirement and was highly respected by his peers in other municipalities and state officials that would seek him out, even after retirement, for his expertise and honesty on enforcement regulations.

He was a member of the Saint David's Society of Lackawanna County, The Genealogical Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania and Scranton Computer Users Group, where he was an instructor to new computer users. He was a computer programmer, and software beta tester, co-owner of CF Robbins Graphic and Web Designs and built most of his personal computer systems. He was a Citizens band and Ham radio operator. He and his late father-in-law, Delbert Bachman built homes on his properties and restored antique vehicles. Clark was an incredibly versatile and multitalented individual.

In addition to his wife Faye, he is also survived by his mother, Gail Brenner; his brother, Christopher Robbins; his Godmother, Sandra Mulligan; his mother-in-law, Nancy Bachman; his “brother” Robert Losch. His sons Mark Clark, Cortland Clark and his wife Lauren, Clark Robbins, and Casey Robbins and his wife Dorothy. His brothers-in-law, Harry Kizer and wife Brenda, and John Kizer. His sisters-in-law Ann Kizer and husband Jason Rake, and Julie Mitchell. Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

There will be no calling hours and services will be at a later time at the convenience of the family. Clark’s request is to remember him by donating to your local firefighters, Veterans organizations, and animal rescues.
